The key advantage of poured-in-place rubber flooring is that it creates a seamless surface, resulting in highly durable areas for both sports facilities and playgrounds. During installation, we use a two-layer system consisting of a lower SBR layer and an upper EPDM layer.
Colored EPDM rubber granules are wear-resistant, UV-stable and water-permeable, while also being easy to maintain and clean. Professional installation is essential, as it can significantly increase the service life of rubber flooring. A wide range of colors is available, and almost any design can be created; the only limit is imagination. Creative rubber surfaces can also be applied to 3D forms.
The impact-absorbing, fall-protection property of rubber flooring is defined by the so-called critical fall height. This value is determined through laboratory testing according to the MSZ EN 1177 standard. The test models the height below which the risk of head injury for children falls below a certain level. This height is the critical fall height of the rubber surface, also known as Head Injury Criterion, or HIC.
